Toastmaster of the day Mike O'Brien presented us with a beautiful theme: "DREAMS!" with an equally beautiful program agenda as well, complete with a picture of a dream-castle in the clouds. Mike used quotations from famous authors on Dreams throughout the meeting keeping it interesting despite a packed schedule! Grammarian Luke Muehlhauser gave us a word-of-the-day that fit our "zeitgeist". The most ironic we've ever had.
Table Topics Master Sue Zenger asked us both a question and to choose our audience to suit our answer. Challenging and a lot of fun, getting us to dream on the spot.
The meeting's prepared speeches were delivered by: Rachel Ladd-Delgado, Paula Michel, Christina Warren, Annette McCullough, Yana Yatkovskaya and Cliff Noble.
Paula Michel's speech was her #10 "Inspire Your Audience" and it really did as well completing her Basic Manual. She also took the "Best Speaker" and "Most Improved Speaker" ribbon awards. Congratulations Paula!
