2009-12-13: What is Your Story?

Toastmaster of the day Lance Miller challenged us with his theme: "What is Your Story?" encouraging us (as he always does) to find and relate our own personal stories to connect with our audience. Lance gave numerous examples throughout the meeting keeping the meeting both on-time and interesting despite a packed schedule! Grammarian Val Rodionov gave us a "palmary" word-of-the-day perhaps the most important we've ever had.
Table Topics Master Lee Cambique's probing questions challenged us to tell our personal story as well, nicely fitting the day's theme.
The meeting's prepared speeches were delivered by: Sioux Hart, Yana Yatkovskaya, Susan Boughton, Ray Korns, Bruce Delfeld and Mike O'Brien.
