The astute and brilliant Mike O'Brien was Toastmaster of the day with his theme: "The Bright Side". Mike correctly pointed out that the brightness of life depends upon ones viewpoint and backed it up with incredable quotes from those who know. Grammarian Yana Yatkovskaya brightened our lives with a "glamorous" word-of-the-day.
Phil Deland's Table Topics, kept everyone bright and entertained as well.
The day's speakers were: Annette McCullough who won the Best pre-CC ribbon, Susan Boughton, Mick Coventry who exhibited some of the charming technique he utilizes in his anti-drug message to high-school kids, Clare Anahu who humorously handled our unemployment dilema, Richard Stewart, and Jeff Harman.
A bright, fun meeting. It sure has brightened my day! And the Renaissance continues...
