Always witty Ingrid Smith was Toastmaster of the day with her theme: "Guilty Pleasures". Chocolate rated very high amongst the very diverse guilt that was consulted during the course of the meeting. Grammarian Jeff Harman correctly picked "ambrosial" as the word-of-the-day.
For Table Topics, Carol Worthey had everyone sweating with her piercing, often tongue-in-cheek questions.
The day's speakers were: Paula Michel who won both Best and Most Improved ribbon, Val Rodionov whose Russion folk tale had us in the palm of his hand, Bruce Delfeld, Mike O'Brien, Lance Miller, and Roberta Perry.
A shameless, guilt-ridden and fun meeting. The Renaissance continues...
