2009-09-20: A Fresh New Start

Toastmaster Cliff Noble drew us all in with his theme: "A Fresh New Start" with the first meeting following our club's 20th Anniversary. Most topics and comments were suitable for Grammarian Annette McCullough's "insouciance" word-of-the-day.
Table Topics Master Val Rodionov managed to pause so long between asking a question and selecting his "victim" to answer he had all hearts beating fast and beads of sweat forming on brows.
Speakers for the day were: Ray Korns, Paula Michel, Clare Anahu, Bruce Delfeld, Mike O'Brien and Mick Coventry. Bruce especially wants us to believe that he believes we "...really landed on the moon in July 1969."
